You have a wiki page so make sure it gets better. More advice if required. Victuallers 18:40, 13 March 2007 (UTC) .... its nearly a "start" Victuallers 18:41, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

The following section needs NPOV clean-up. I've highlighted the most extreme examples. Someone out there keeps putting it back up:

Under the direction of Mr. Richard Bergman, the Herndon band program has thrived. In 1991, the band won the prestigious Sousa award. The marching band is directed by Chuck Hawkins, a battalion chief at Fairfax county's Fire House #36 [why does this matter?].

Herndon High School is also home to an award winning guitar program [yet no awards for the program are named]. They are [grammatically incorrect] under the direction of Christopher "C-ham" Cunningham. Mr Cunningham won the Teacher of the Year award in 2006 and was awarded a small check from Sams Club at the end-of-year guitar concert[again, why does this matter? Very un-encyclopedic]. Full applause from his students followed. [self-congratulatory] The Guitar 3 class also takes part in an annual spring trip to perform in a competition with other schools across the country. In the 2007 competition, which was held in Atlanta, they received a 1st place award and a rating of superior. The Herndon High Guitar program has never received less than 1st place in a judicated event.Sweetalker79 19:05, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

I've tagged the article for NPOV clean-up.SniperWolf1564 10:57, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:HerndonHS.jpg

Image:HerndonHS.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
