Needs assessment and needs attention because of deletion nomination for non-notability and redlinks for German ministries.--Boson 23:43, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

I have added Wikilinks to Three Gorges Dam, Tehri dam, and the BTC pipeline in direct quotations. I was wondering if that is strictly permissible (since the reader might infer that any links were from the original source). I don't really see the possibility of confusion with internal links, but it might be an issue with external links. In any case (when someone gets around to it) it might be more sensible to add the details of the controversies to the body of the article, rather than relegating them to a footnote. I suppose linking back from there would also help with the orphan-article problem. ECA Watch and Germanwatch have details of various controversies involving Hermes. I assume they are very POV and should only be cited as evidence of the controversy. --Boson 00:43, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
