Wikipedia is not an enyclopedia that includes projections and the like-- Therefore the Chiefs succession box should be removed until Edwards is announced as the head coach (it is possible that he does not become a Chief!). Zookman12 03:28, 8 January 2006 (UTC)

Oh, but he did become one! WikiFanatic 22:08, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

Does anyone else feel it should be mentioned that "herm" is a common term for hermaphrodite? And how this may be relevant to Herm Edwards? Or a disambiguation?

[edit] Needs to be redone

In 2005 Edwards and his Jets suffered one of the worst seasons yet finishing with an abysmal 4-12 record. Edwards’ lack of team discipline, poor coaching decisions coupled with team injuries to cause Edwards to lose favor with many Jets fans. Edwards’ overall lack of discipline as head coach caused the training of many players to fall by the wayside. With injuries caused by poor conditioning and lack of coaching the healthy players, now playing alongside rookies, were then also more prone to injuries. Edwards’ incompetence did not only manifest itself in the weight room but also on the field. Edwards started quarterback Chad Pennington only months after his surgery, causing him to re-injure his already fragile shoulder. Forced now into adopting a more conservative game plan with his quarterback injured, Edwards placed much burden on running back Curtis Martin"

Poor conditioning? Subjective. Lack of coaching and healthy players? Subjective. Lack of discipline? Subjective, subjective, subjective. This article needs to be completely re-written. I hope someone is up for the task.

I thought his named was spelled "Herm" Edwards? It is spelled this way on most official items. --Anonymous Fan —Preceding unsigned comment added by 153.91.129.129 (talk) 03:34, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
