I added the cleanup-rewrite tag to the article, since it is written in an extremely conversational tone, and isn't encyclopedic -- I might try to get to this myself at some point in the near future. --Storkk 20:59, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Rewritten

I rewrote the article in its entirety, using the previous article as the main source. This is NOT good practice. I could not find the device in Mannix's The History of Torture, from 1964. Unfortunately, almost all google hits are for a band or album of the same name. However, [1] does have some information, including drawing & photo on which I based my diagram (but not the text, hence I didnt cite it). I left the citing sources tag, as the previous article cannot be used as a source, according to my interpretation of Wikipedia policy. --Storkk 12:43, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
