[edit] Tonal?

Is it a tonal language? The article should mention this. Badagnani 07:18, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] See meta:Proposals for closing projects/Closure of Herero Wikipedia

If anyone here has any Herero proficiency, please take a look at this proposal and at the small Herero encyclopedia itself to see what should be done with this wikipedia (keep it or delete it.) Keeping it implies more than a sentimental commitment ("it would be nice to have a wikipedia in every language ...") but also that it can be something more than a 10 or 20-article spam and vandalism trap and not just "someday" but in the here and now.

Please do not respond here but rather at that discussion (meta:Proposals for closing projects/Closure of Herero Wikipedia). --A. B. (talk) 12:09, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wikiherero

Do these edits represent nonsense? What is "Wikiherero"? Badagnani 09:30, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

I have temporarily reverted these edits pending further discussion. Perhaps these edits are correct in some manner but more importantly:
 • There are no reliable sources cited that meet the requirements of WP:RS.
 • With 50 to 100 speakers, it's unclear that this language would meet the requirements of WP:NN.
 • The infobox that was added described a constructed language ("conlang") based in part on Turkish and English:
