[edit] Improvements needed

Even though this article survived AfD, it needs more work to be a good article. Hereford students or alumni (and any others) interested in the article should be familiar with Wikipedia:WikiProject Schools and the policy discussion at Wikipedia:Schools before starting substantial edits. This article needs the following improvements:

  • Images - somebody should take original photos of the school and upload them to Wikipedia Commons so one or more can be included in the article; images from the school website can't be used without written permission (See Wikipedia:Image use policy);
  • Infobox - the most common infobox for U.S. high schools has been added, but it needs information for some fields;
  • Structure - the article needs additional sections for History, Campus, etc., if verifiable information is available; most things worth mentioning in the lead should be expanded on in a section (e.g., "agriscience" could be discussed in Curriculum);
  • Extracurricular activities - there must be something going on besides sports; student government, music and the arts, traditions, and other activities may be worth including if there are verifiable and reliable sources;
  • External links - alumni association? PTA? School Board/County schools office?

I have changed the cleanup tag to expansion - cleanup is when there is a problem with the exisitng material whereas what you are asking for, and I agree, is additional material. TerriersFan 23:43, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, I won't argue with you. It has been cleaned up some already. --Hjal 02:43, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
I'll see what I can do to revamp it. I've started to source some of the material, and I'll see about getting a picture. I went to Hereford and had a picture of it on its website, but it has been shrunk to the point that it wouldn't be of any use here, so I'll ask a friend if they can take a picture. And I'll be careful not to add anything POV/OR. —ShadowHalo 06:01, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
