"A self-owned Plymouth"? I get the point, but, yuck. Recall, most drivers then were privateers, strictly small-time. Kiekhaefer would change that--& fans hated his team cars, 'cause they kept winning... Kiekhaefer ran a superbly-organized & -outfitted team, the first truly modern team in NASCAR, precursor to the '80s pros, sponsorship & all. Trekphiler 14:39, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
