Hervé Filion

Hervé Filion (born February 1, 1940) is a Canadian harness racer.

Born in Angers, Quebec, Filion was the first driver to win over 400 races in a year in 1968 and was able to achieve this accomplishment 14 more times. Filion holds the all-time record for most career wins in North America, with over 15,000.

He is still active, currently racing at Pocono Downs in Pennsylvania. When that track is not open, he races from November to March in Delaware at Dover Downs.

In 1971, he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada and was awarded the Lou Marsh Trophy. In 1976, he was inducted into the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame.
