Herpetopoma larochei alacerrima is a subspecies of marine gastropod mollusc in the family Trochidae, the top shells.

This top shell is endemic to the Cook Strait area of New Zealand.

This is a regional subspecies, differing from the typical species in having more numerous beaded spiral cords, and a rounded, not angled, periphery.
The maximum shell height is 4.4 mm, and width 4.5 mm.
