Hero (Superchick song)

Hero was the 2002 smash hit single from Superchick, a band. It first appeared on their "Last One Picked" and received a Red Pill remix on Regeneration. It reached Number One on Christian Rock charts and enjoyed play on both Christian and mainstream radio stations.
The song tells the stories of several individuals who could resort to suicide or murder if they are not shown love. The chorus tells the listener that "[they] could be a hero" by being a friend to these people as "heroes are made when you make a choice".
