Hernan Bas

Hernan Bas (born 1978 in Miami, Florida, United States) is an artist based in Florida. He graduated in 1996 from the New World School of the Arts in Miami.[1]
Bas has shown work internationally in many important exhibitions including the 2004 Whitney Biennial in New York City, “The Triumph of Painting” at the Saatchi Gallery in London, “Garden Party” Deitch Projects in New York, 'Little Odysseys' at Marianne Boesky Gallery, New York, “Think Warm” at Tomio Koyama Gallery in Tokyo and “New Figuration” at Galeri Christina Wilson in Copenhagen. Bas is represented by Fredric Snitzer in Miami, Daniel Reich in New York and Sandroni Rey in Los Angeles.
His artworks have also been included in group exhibitions of public collections at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami.[1]
