Hermod Skånland

Hermod Skånland (born 1925 in Tromsø) is a Norwegian economist.
Skånland served as the Governor of the Central Bank of Norway from 1985 to 1993, having served since 1971 as the Deputy Governor.
He has also been a Professor at the BI School of Management,[1] vice president of the Norwegian branch of UNICEF,[2] and has worked for Statistics Norway and the Ministry of Finance. He is a member of the Norwegian Labour Party.[3]
