Herculaneum Pottery

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Herculaneum Pottery was based in Toxteth, Liverpool between 1796 and 1840. They made creamware and pearlware pottery as well as bone china porcelain. A large percentage of their produce was exported to America and elsewhere. The company gave it's name to the Herculaneum Dock dock which occupied the site later.
