Herbie Harper

Herbie Harper (born July 2, 1920) jazz trombonist of the West Coast jazz "school" born in Salina, Kansas, though he first had his start playing swing music with the likes of Benny Goodman or Charlie Spivak in the 1940s and 1950s. Working on the West Coast jazz music scene, he performed with such musicians as Stan Kenton, Bill Perkins and Maynard Ferguson, among others.[1]
