Herbertpur is a town and a nagar panchayat in Dehradun district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.

As of 2001 India census,[1] Herbertpur had a population of 9242. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Herbertpur has an average literacy rate of 69%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 75%, and female literacy is 63%. In Herbertpur, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.This place is also known for Lehman hospital, which was set by Christian missioniory to provide necessary medical care to the nearby villages and hilly people of Jaunsar baber and Himachal pradesh and also to promote Christianity in the area.
