Herbert Smith (born 22 November 1879 in Witney - died 6 January 1951) was an English amateur football (soccer) player who competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics, playing at left-back.
He was a member of the English team, which won the gold medal in the football tournament.
He had previously made four appearances for the full England team in 1905 and 1906.
