Herbert Martin Gardiner (May 8, 1891 – January 11, 1972) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played for the Montreal Canadiens and Chicago Black Hawks in the National Hockey League. He also played for the WCHL's Calgary Tigers. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was also the recipient of the Hart Trophy in 1927. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1958.
