Herb Breckenreg

Herb Brackenreg was a rugby league player in the New South Wales Rugby League(NSWRL)competition. A goal kicking forward, he played for the Eastern Suburbs club in 1908, its foundation season, and gained selection for his state, New South Wales. Later moving to Queensland he was chosen to represented both his new state and Australia.

Brackenreg was a member of the rebel sides that played against the New Zealand 'All Golds' in the series that helped to give birth to the rugby league in Australia.
