There is a song by Henry Thomas that is on several compilation albums [1] [2], which is always listed as "Jonah in the Wilderness." However, in the song, it sounds like he is singing "John" rather than Jonah, which would seemingly refer to John the Baptist.[3] [4] There is even a branch of the Episcopal Church called St. John in the Wilderness Epsicopal Church.
