The dates for Sir Henry's shrievalties differ (in each case by a year) from the dates appearing in the Wikipedia list of Wiltshire High Sheriffs. The latter are derived from the Rev.J.E.Jackson's Wiltshire Sheriffs (1856). The difference may not be very significant for, as the Rev. Mr. Jackson says: "It will therefore be borne in mind, that the actual year of a Shrievalty rarely, if ever, corresponds exactly either with the regnal year, or with the year of our Lord. Each person is Sheriff in two regnal years, and in two years of our Lord."
