Talk:Henry Lee of Ditchley

The reference to the ring in the portrait being to Anne Vavasour seems inaccurate; Vavasour was not his mistress until at least the 1580s, and the portrait was done in 1568. GD, 16:22 EST, 3 May 2008 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.140.192.115 (talk) 20:22, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
I found conflicting texts, but it appears that Richard Lee of Virgina is the nephew, not son, of this Sir Henry Lee. I have removed that reference until I can confirm one way or the other. ` PKM 04:57, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
,, 1603 "Lee Hall" of Staffordshire England was the birthplace of Mary Bayley {daugther of William Bayley}; Mary Bayley was the wife of Colonel Roger Fowke of "Gunston Hall", Staffordshire, England-not to be confused with Gunston Hall home of George Mason of Virginia.
