[edit] Caroline's trial

This article states "bill was defeated by 123 votes to 95", while the article on the bill (Pains and Penalties Bill 1820) states that it passed by a margin of 9 votes. The fact that the bill passed but was never introduced into the House of Commons is well documented.

I am removing that section and replacing it with the correct information. Michael Daly 09:18, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
