This Dictionary of American Naval Aviation Squadrons entry on Bartholomay's squadron lists at least one other downed MiG-19, by another pilot in his squadron 5 days following Bartholomay's kill. Fightindaman 19:20, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

A source provided by the author of this page shows various other MiG-19 kills by the USAF. LT. Bartholomay's was the first MiG-19 by a Naval Aviator, not the first overall. Fightindaman 00:16, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
