[edit] Inclusion

I think that Henk Kuijpers is a notable subject for inclusion in wikipedia. He is well established Dutch comic artist who is frequently compared to Herge. Furthermore, in discussion of ligne claire his name was in red indicating that someone else thought him important enough to include in wikipedia, but maybe did not have the time to write the entry. It was because of this I decided I should at least get the article started. --Zhafnium 08:26, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

While I also think that Kuijpers is more than worthy of inclusion (winner of the Stripschapprijs), I would like to point out that the frequent comparisons to Hergé are just a refernec to the fact that he works in the ligne claire style started by Hergé, not that he is generally considered as comparable to Hergé in influence or importance.
