Bunbury in Caught in Time claims his name was Jan Brouwer - anyone for a further detail onthis one?SatuSuro 13:57, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
- I've seen it spelt Henderik, but never Jan, but who are we to question the fabulous Bill! -- I@n 14:24, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Two people
At the moment the biography describes two entirely different people. One must be a privateer, perhaps named Jan Brouwer according to above discussion. The other, for which the dates are correct, was Governor General of the Dutch Indies. He never went anywhere near South America, though he traveled quite a bit up and down to South East Asia. I'll remove the lines corresponding to the privateer, as the name is still not even established. Afasmit (talk) 01:39, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
