[edit] American Spelling

As an Australian, I may have misspelt some words on a page that should obviously be in American English. Feel free to edit.Seasalt 14:20, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] So, where does one find information about Excelsior motorcycles?

I was looking for an article on the Excelsior Super X, the original 45" motorcycle that caused the creation of the 45" Indian Scout 101 and the Harley-Davidson D-series which evolved into the W and K series and ultimately into the Sportster.

However, not only do I not see an article on the Super X, I note with dismay that Excelsior (Chicago) redirects to Henderson, which does not cover any Excelsior models.

Is Excelsior really not considered notable, despite the Super X and despite being the third-largest American motorcycle manufacturer at the time of its demise? Respectfully, SamBlob 03:51, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
