Statue of Henry Richard in Tregaron Square, Tregaron. Unveiled on 18 August 1893. Located in Tregaron Square, Tregaron. OS Reference SN680596. Sculptor was Albert Toft. Front of pedestal, carved into stone and painted white: HENRY RICHARD / A S / GANWYD EBRILL 3 1812 / BU FARW AWST 20 1888 Raised lettering on two bronze plaques fixed to front of pedestal. In Welsh and English. Upper plaque in Welsh: GANWYD YMA YN NHREGARON ADDYSGWYD EF I'R WEINIDOGAETH / GRISTNOGOL AC YN 1835 ORDEINIWYD EF YN LLUNDAIN YN 1848 / APWYNTIWYD EF YN YSGRIFENNYDD I'R GYMDEITHAS HEDDWCH AC / ENILLODD FRI RHYNGWLADOL FEL "APOSTOL HEDDWCH."
