This image shows a photograph of Henry Daglish, taken and published circa 1910.

The original photograph is part of the Western Australia Government Photographer Collection, and is held by the State Library of Western Australia. A digital image of the photograph was created by the State Library of Western Australia and is available from the Library Information Service of Western Australia (LISWA) website. The LISWA image includes an assertion of copyright 2002, but this assertion is incorrect: the image is in the public domain under both Australian copyright law and US copyright law. This digital image is a cropped version of the LISWA digital image that eliminates the incorrect copyright notice.

This image was created in Australia and is now classified as being in the public domain because its term of copyright has now expired. According to the Australian Copyright Council (ACC), ACC Information Sheet G23 (Duration of copyright) (Sep 2005), generally copyright has expired as follows:

¹means the typographical arrangement and layout of a published work. eg. newsprint.
²owned means where a government is the copyright owner as well as would have owned copyright but reached some other agreement with the creator.
