Henry Markell

Henry Markell (February 7, 1792 - August 30, 1831) was a U.S. Representative from New York, son of Jacob Markell.

Born in Stone Arabia, New York, Markell attended the common schools. He studied law. He was admitted to the bar and practiced.

Markell was elected as an Adams candidate to the Nineteenth and Twentieth Congresses (March 4, 1825-March 3, 1829). He died in Palatine, New York, on August 30, 1831. He was interred in the cemetery at St. Johnsville, Montgomery County, New York.
