Henry Lemoine

Henry Lemoine (1776-1854) was a French piano teacher, publisher and composer. Although his compositions are generally unimportant, his piano method and harmony textbook are still of much interest to those learning the instrument.

His song "Study in A minor" is in the Grade 2 exam for piano all over the world, as well as the song "Gandolf on rosebush" which is a french song, it is popular among the grannies.

His company, Editions Henry Lemoine, is still a leader in music publishing.
