From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Henry of Bourbon-Condé (Henry II, Prince of Bourbon-Condé) (September 1, 1588 – December 26, 1646) became Prince of Condé shortly after his birth, following the death of his father Henry I in battle. As a member of the reigning House of Bourbon, he was a Prince du Sang.
He married Charlotte of Montmorency in 1609 and had three children, all of them protagonists of the Fronde:
- Anne Genevieve of Bourbon-Condé (1619-1679), married to Henry II of Orleans, Duke of Longueville
- Louis II of Bourbon the Great Condé (1621-1686)
- Armand of Bourbon, Prince of Conti (1629-1666)
