Henry Guerlac

Henry Edward Guerlac (June 14, 1910 - May 29, 1985) was an American historian of science. He taught at Cornell University where he was the Goldwin Smith Professor of History and a member of the the Department of History.
PhD European history from Harvard 1941. Pfizer Award 1959 for Lavoisier: The Crucial Year, George Sarton Medal in 1973, Guggenheim Fellow 1978, 1982 was awarded the Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur by France.
