Henry Fletcher (cricketer)

Henry Fletcher (July 25, 1882 — October 27, 1937) was an English cricketer who played for Derbyshire between 1907 and 1908. He was born in Clay Cross and died in Chaddesden.

Fletcher made his debut during the unsuccessful 1907 season, in which Derbyshire finished at the bottom of the County Championship. Fletcher's first appearance came in a match against Sussex, and he played in two further games during the 1907 season. Derbyshire finished bottom of the 1907 County Championship, with just two wins from 22 games.

This position was improved marginally during the following season, when Derbyshire won five games during the season, finishing fourteenth in the championship. Fletcher played no further games after the 1908 season, his final game coming against Kent, a game in which batsmen Wally Hardinge, James Seymour and Kenneth Hutchings all scored centuries.

Another Derbyshire cricketer, Thomas Fletcher, played for Derbyshire in 1906, though it is unclear as to whether the two were related.
