Henry D. McMaster is an American lawyer and politician, a Republican from South Carolina.
Appointed by President Ronald Reagan he served as a U.S. Attorney for South Carolina district from 1981 to 1985.
He was also a Republican nominee for the United States Senate, when he lost to long-time incumbent Ernest Hollings by 63.9% - 36.1% margin.
