Henry Boney

Henry Tate Boney (October 28, 1903 - June 12, 2002) was a Major League Baseball pitcher who appeared in three games, all in relief, for the New York Giants in 1927. The 23-year-old rookie was a native of Wallace, North Carolina. It should also be noted he attended the University of Florida.
Boney made his major league debut on June 28, 1927 against the Philadelphia Phillies at Baker Bowl. His last appearance was on July 13. He finished all three games he relieved in and pitched a total of four innings, giving up just one earned run. His record was 0-0 with a 2.25 ERA.
