Henry Alfred Krishnapillai of Palayamkottai, dubbed `Christian Kamban'

Incidentally, he along with Vedanayagam Sastriar of Tanjore and N. Samuel of Tranquebar were known as the triumvirate of Tamil Christian poets.

He wrote the Iratchaniya Yatreekam in Tamil along the lines of Pilgrims Progress. He was also known as the Christian Kamban.
