Henning Meyer

Henning Meyer, born in 1978, is a German political scientist, analyst and commentator based at the Global Policy Institute [1] at London Metropolitan University. He is an expert on social democracy, European economic and social policy, globalization and British and German politics. He is also co-founder and Managing Editor of the quarterly journal Social Europe, [2].

Henning Meyer holds an MA in British and European Politics and Government and a PhD in comparative politics from London Metropolitan University. He is a frequent contributor to academic and mainstream publications such as The Guardian Comment is Free [3] and co-editor of several books.
