Henner Henkel

Henner Henkel (born in October 9, 1915, Berlin - died December 3, 1942 in Stalingrad) was a German tennis player.

He was the second German to win the singles title at the French Open in 1937. The same year, he and Gottfried von Cramm also won the French Open doubles title.

He was killed in action at Battle of Stalingrad.
