[edit] Too much non-encyclopedic info in the band section?

The band section is starting to get awful trivia-heavy. I will concede that major national honours, like marching in the Tournament of Roses Parade, belong in the article. I disagree that every local-level minor parade and award needs mentioned. Further, listing the 2006–7 band membership and instrument counts is getting way outside the realm of the encyclopedic. Accordingly, I delete it as it gets posted. Does anybody have a reason why that info should stand in the article? —C.Fred (talk) 18:27, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

I agree, there's way too much trivia here! Does the seating capacities and library holdings really add to our understanding of the school? We should probably work this over to include the sections recommended by WikiProject Schools:
  • History
  • Campus
  • Students
  • Faculty
  • Extracurricular Activities
  • Curriculum
  • Notable Alumni
  • References
  • External Links

[edit] Sports schedules

While I think the listing of head football coaches and their records is reasonable, the last three seasons of football results is excessive for a high school article. Accordingly, I've deleted them. —C.Fred (talk) 00:16, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
