[edit] Lyda-Lott

I have noticed that Lyda Construction (now Lyda Swinerton), although I am sure a fine organization, has been inserted into several San Antonio realated articles. This article in particular is peppered with references to this company and borders on plugs for the contractor. Typically in encyclopedic articles the contractor of a project is not referenced. If any referrences to those or companies involved in a project's encyclopedic article it is usually the architect or developer/owner. I think that the references to the general contractors should be removed from the San Antonio articles. IceBRG 23:41, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

Seems most of them came from this spree from two years ago. I would agree that the general contractor on a notable project is probably a little too much detail, but I'd hesitate to clear it out in most instances. Here, though, every single edit was a 'Lyda' references of some sort, so it would seem theres a COI at work. No objections if you want to sweep it up. Kuru talk 01:37, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, Kuru. I will do some sweeping. Best.IceBRG (talk) 19:30, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
