[edit] Name is Tambur, not Tambut

I didn't understand why the name was changed from Tambur to Tambut?.. The name actually can be rendered from Armenian as either Tambur or Dampur, depending whether it is western or eastern dialect, however there is no t at the end, just r. Avetik 12:58, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Revision Proposed

The article misses an objective treatment of the topic of Hemşin's history. This issue (History of Hemşin) is currently under development and discussion under the "Hamshenis" entry, with the contributions of mostly the same editors. Due to practical reasons, I propose that the "History" section of this entry be deleted (or directed to the "Hamshenis" entry ) until a consensus is achieved.Omer182 (talk) 11:35, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Omer 182, I agree with your proposal. By the way, your phrase "misses an objective treatment" seems to be a too mild in conjunction with the extremely biased presentation
