Hempstead High is the second album by A+, released in 1999. The title is taken from his local high school in Hempstead, New York and symbolized his growth since his first album, The Latch-Key Child (released in 1996 at age 13). The albums thematics were generally light with a focus on a good-time party theme mixed with standar braggadocio. A+ released this album after a three year hiatus. This album contained A+'s biggest hit to date, "Enjoy Yourself", which contains samples from "A Fifth of Beethoven" by Walter Murphy.
