[edit] Redlinks
I reverted your red link removals from Judge Dredd as there largely didn't seem a point. The red link policy says "Red links should not be created for topics that will never have articles, such as a celebrity's romantic interest (who is not a celebrity in his or her own right) or every chapter in a book." which doesn't include mst of the links you unlinked (the majority of which were linked in from other entries - click on the red link and click "what links here". That is a sure sign that the redlinks are there because the entry should be made). The only redlink I am concerned about is Spit Gun and I have proposed a solution (making it a redirect to List of technology in Judge Dredd.
Hope that helps explain my edits. Most of the redlinks on the page are reminders so that editors visiting the page can see what really needs doing, the rest are connected entries and are there so things will be joined when those entries are created. (Emperor 16:12, 3 May 2007 (UTC))
- No problem. The important thing is to get invovled and make positive contributions which you are doing. The red links removal isn't a big deal but, especially on a higher level page, they do serve a useful purpose so it was worth putting them back in. Familiarise yourself with the various guidelines and you'll pick it up as you go along. I suppose the best tips I can give are have a look at how other people have editted the page and (unless it is breaking the guidelines) go along with that - if youa re going to do anything major then drop a note in on the talk page and see what other editors think. - I've re-linked some of the red links that you took out. Off the top of my head they were for a U.S. national program for the blind, a magazine, a now defunct car company, and a European football team. The football team will probably have a page at some point as sports teams normally have pages made at some point, the magazine may see an article, the national program is a government program and thus would likely have a page eventually, and the car company will probably at least have a stub when someone does the research for it. [edit] Red Berry
I didn't take any offence at your comments about your Red Berry prod. You're totally right that the article was barely a stub. The major substance of the article was actually deleted a month or so ago, on the grounds that it wasn't cited. I wish I knew more about him, but I honestly feel that membership in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame is grounds for notability in the sphere of professional wrestling. I've restored and enhanced most of the deleted material. I've also added some references. Take another look, and send it to AfD, if you still think he's not notable, but I don't think a prod is appropriate anymore. - Geoffg 05:41, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] PRODs
As it says in the PROD template, you are supposed to notify the creator of an article when you PROD it as a common courtesy. You should also consider notifying the appropriate WikiProject (WP:PW for wrestling related articles). TJ Spyke 21:38, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

- I'm sorry! I thought I notified all the creators of anything I put prod's on. It was very un-intentional to not notify!!! Please excuse my mistake, it seems as though I missed a couple of people for a few articles. Hellswasteland 15:50, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Marky Mark (wrestler)
I've removed the {{prod}} from Marky Mark (wrestler), since the second removal (by an anon) was probably intended to stop the deletion process. I did, however, put it up for AfD. I think you were right in having it deleted, but since this was contested, this can't be done using WP:PROD. Od Mishehu 14:10, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- Hey, I saw what you did and I added a delete to the nomination. I appreciate the Afd, I am still not sure how to put that up properly. Am I doing things the right way? Thanks again. Hellswasteland 16:16, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Shane Bower
I haven't checked the history, but I'm assuming I tagged it for sources. Back in the late 80s although Stampede weren't anything like they were in the early 80s or before, they were still a bigger promotion than any indy going today. Under those circumstances I figured it best just to tag it for sources, as if the sources exist it's possible it could be expanded. If it can't be expanded it should be deleted with fire in my opinion, as I just don't like three sentence stubs with no potential on any person, not just wrestlers. - I agree... Hey, a BritneyWhoah or something like that deleted my message to you on your page, I re-added it just so you know. Thanks again! Hellswasteland 13:37, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

- Yeah, my talk page is a bit of an edit warzone right now, as JB196 is sockpuppetting like mad. One Night In Hackney303 13:41, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

- Ugh, that is just retarded... You would figure people would have better things to do with thier time. Well, I'll keep in touch if I find anything that I am unsure about. Good luck with the edit war LOL... Hellswasteland 13:44, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Taco Bell
You need to go to requests for page protection. The vandalism seems pretty low level right now though, if it's just one or two IP editors per day it's unlikely to be protected. Just issue them with the warning templates and once they reach level 4 report them to administrator intervention against vandalism. One Night In Hackney303 18:35, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] PCW (Australia)
If it's promotional in tone, just fix it. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Professional Championship Wrestling (Australia) - it's a notable promotion so the article shouldn't be deleted, just improved. One Night In Hackney303 15:47, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
- No problem, happy to help. You'd be better off sorting out Professional Championship Wrestling and the 800 articles about it to be honest anyway! One Night In Hackney303 16:30, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
I had to fix up the roster because none of the wrestlers are what you linked them up to be. They are all Australian born wrestlers
[edit] Re:Professional Wrestling
I think you are right in removing the link. I am not sure wether it is blatant spam, but it definetely does not seem a proper link to include at Professional Wrestling. If you wish, you could always put up {{subst:uw-spam2}} on SouthCalli's talk page. Dr bab 18:49, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Talking Sauce Packets
Hey. Thank you for going to the trouble of adding all the "Talking Sauce Packet" mottoes to the Taco Bell article. However, those are quite clearly copyright of the Taco Bell corporation, and so I have removed them from the page. Sorry, but Wikipedia policies mean that we have to be very careful with copyright that doesn't belong to us. DS 23:33, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry for the delay in responding. The point about the Talking Sauce Packets is that you were basically copying the mottoes word for word. If you had rephrased the mottoes, saying them in your own words, they wouldn't be the mottoes. If you can't put it in your own words without destroying it, then you can't use it. Make sense?
