[edit] Apologies

Again, I would like to apologize to you if you felt that you or anyone in Cedarhurst was being slighted. It was never my intent. Unfortunately, many edits to articles I work on and watch are malicious vandalism, forcing me to waste my time correcting and cleaning up the mess. When I saw the changes regarding the Five Towns in the Cedarhurst article, I assumed it was vandalism and reverted the changes without checking. I agree that not all of what I perceive to be bad edits are vandalism, and are all too often what happened with you, a clumsy initial effort to improve an article. I feel strongly that new information improves Wikipedia, and I would never delete properly-sourced factual information, and I assure you that I have never deliberately removed useful information and did not do so in your case. I would agree more strongly with your suggestion regarding Arbustoo if he didn't spend so much time trying to delete articles I've worked on and ignoring information that contradicts his stubbornly-held biases. We've had a more-or-less cease fire on an article that's been our greatest bone of contention, which hopefully will hold. Let's all learn some lessons from this incident.
