Was the Hellmouth in Cleveland confirmed? I believe it was only mentioned as a possibility.

It was confirmed in both The Wish and Chosen -- Paxomen 00:18, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

I think it would be a good idea to discuss the several occasions where the hellmouth almost opened.

[edit] Locations in the Buffyverse

During the AFD for this article and other Buffy location articles, we came upon the idea of starting a consensus proposal here regarding the different locations and what to do with them. We have proposed redirecting to a central article with the title of Locations in the Buffyverse. This would enable a fresh start on a central article about Buffy locations that could be cited and referenced properly. Please voice your opinion one way or the other. [edit] Inspired by?

If this article is kept, I'd like to note that the section comparing it to Doctor Who and other works is suspect, not that the comparisons aren't valid, but that it refers to these works as being "inspired by" Buffy, when more likely they just independently conceived a rather obvious narrative device of science fiction, or based them on some device in an older work of which we're not aware. Perhaps there should be a more general article describing them all. I don't know, but in any case the section should make it clear that it's merely a comparison. I think this is important because this is currently the only part of the article connecting the subject to the real world. Deco 03:15, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cleveland

The article says that the Cleveland hellmouth is only a possibility, and the Sunnydale one is the only confirmed one. If the hellmouth in Cleveland is mentioned in "The Wish," "Chosen" and "Season 8," how is it not confirmed to be in the canon? Nerrolken 23:19, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Hellmouth (Buffy episode).jpg

Image:Hellmouth (Buffy episode).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] New Hellmouth?

The novel Dominic the Vampire Slayer has a Hellmouth like that of Buffyverse. I think it should still be on site. It's serves the exact same purpose as the Sunnydale hellmouth. go to www.dominicthevampireslayer.synthasite.com for more info. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.27.130.126 (talk) 04:15, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
