The big blockquote needs to be worked into the text - it may be a CopyR vio? A contemporary quote might be better. Anyway, I spotted this link from the Spanish Armada article. Good stuff, excellent title. How did they prepare these weapons?--Shtove 00:34, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Since the text as a whole can be downloaded free, a quote should be OK. --GwydionM 21:31, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
Free downloading is not a license; lots of copyrighted text can be downloaded for free. If it's copyrighted (even implied) we can't use huge chunks of it like that. Isopropyl 17:20, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
Nevermind, I guess it's not copyrighted. In any case we shouldn't simply be cutting and pasting from another source. Isopropyl 17:22, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
Yes. That is the point of an encyclopedia. The article as it stands is useless. Arzachel 21:25, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
If you want to do a rewrite, fine.--GwydionM 18:35, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Merge proposal

I propose to remove the merge tag, on the assumption the recent expansion of the article has made it irrelevant.--MWAK (talk) 10:23, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

I agree. You've done a good job expanding it.--GwydionM (talk) 17:14, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
Thank you! I'll remove the tag.--MWAK (talk) 06:41, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
