Hella

Also used as a slang term. Started in Seattle, Washington and featured in South Park.

i.e. That is hella cool or She is hella hot

You are hella right. Hella is definitely a Nor-Cal term, used to piss off people from So-Cal. So-Cal is hella lame.

a Term often used in socal that is equivilant to hella is Freaking, or hekka ie: nor cal is freaking lame, That movie is hekka cool.
