[edit] Hints ruin it

Should there be hints? This is an encyclopedia, not a game manual. Shoshonna 23:44, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

I agree. There shouldn't be hints. I modified them to look a little better, but I decided against removing them for now. Hints kinda ruin it and most of those aren't very good. The last one is also cut off.

I wondered that myself whilst working on the page - I've reformatted the Cheats section along with the rest of the article and have added spoiler tags as well, so hopefully they're more bearable for now. CountdownCrispy 16:50, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
Right, I think I've found the definite answer to this one over at Wikipedia:WikiProject Computer and video games; they specifically state under scope of information that "Content that may be moved to gaming wikis" includes "Lists of cheats or codes. Some codes may be notable and suitable for articles... but the method of performing a code that's confined to only a few games and has no special claim to fame is unsuitable for Wikipedia." Unless anyone has any objections (and given the line of thread here, that doesn't look too likely! ;-)) I'll move them to a more appropriate Wiki tomorrow. [edit] Just wondering...

Yes um I have been wanting to make fancomics of this comic for quite sometime but I have realized I can't find any Sprite sheets for it so I was wondering if any of the wikians have since well it's a great game and would make a pretty good fancomic... So respond if you have the time. - Bassium!

[edit] The grammar in this article is a mess

There are many fragments, and the writing is too informal. It needs to be copy-edited. 69.138.167.245 23:38, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

I've completely rewritten the article, including added the appropriate infobox, proper definition lists, a table for all of the weapons and some images that hopefully better illustrate the game. The only thing that I can see as missing is the specifications of the Special Edition weapons; I haven't got that version of the game so if anyone could add the appropriate information to the weapons table I'd be very grateful. :-) Regards, CountdownCrispy 16:47, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
Ooh, I forgot to mention that if anyone can find some sources then please add those, since I reckon this could become a GA. CountdownCrispy 16:53, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Failed GA

This article failed the GA nominations due to having a very in-game perspective. The article could also use a history section about how the game was developed. Tarret 20:51, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

Hi Tarret,
Having waited three weeks for the results of the GA nomination I'd appreciate it if you could make some more specific suggestions on how to raise the standards of the article. For example, the article used to have a History section - see this old version of the article. During the peer review it was suggested that this was moved to a separate article and I duly obliged, starting Heli Attack (series). Should this be brought back or should a new section be written and, if so, what should it include?
Also, how should I go about making it come from less of a gamer's perspective? I can see your point, but how much should be rewritten or removed without compromising the quality of the article? Again, any comments and suggestions on this would be richly appreciated.
Thanks for reviewing the article, now please make it possible for myself and other edito... actually, it's just me ;-) to raise the bar and make this a GA.

[edit] "secret weapon"

how can you get those secret weapons? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.5.44.47 (talk) 19:05, 9 April 2007 (UTC).

The "secret weapons" are the Googun, unlockable with the cheat code "gloop", and the Sparkplug, unlockable with the cheat code "9volt".Pikdude (talk) 13:42, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

guys, say i'm hallucinating or that i'm on drugs, but weren't there two more exclusive weapons on a limited time offer of this game some years back? i remember something like a gigantic weapon they called the excavator, something like it, and a red one, equally as big. they were listed in the article some years ago. could someone please look more into this? my life will be in turmoil until i have the answer.--Dennisjiewenliu (talk) 15:43, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Heli attack training weapon top.GIF

Image:Heli attack training weapon top.GIF is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Glitches

I deleted the two 'secrets' entries as they are not glitches, they are deliberate secrets. Racooon (talk) 11:08, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

I was going to do that to, but I wasn't sure whether the entries may be glitches (to acess those secretweapons you have to blow up tiles, which looks quite glitchy). I added the glitch of enemies getting stuck. Assasin Joe talk 14:09, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
