Hello is a song written by Christina Aguilera, Robert Hoffman, Heather Holley for promoting new car model of Mercedes-Benz A-Class, back in summer 2004.

The song was originally going to be released as an official single but was not push through due to Christina having started her next musical project Back to Basics.

[edit] Mercedes-Benz campaing

Back in 2004, Mercedes-Benz proposed Aguilera to be the new image of the DaimlerChrysler, because of the launching of the new car model Mercedes-Benz W169. According to the compangy the singer respond with an interest to the proposal and so she did four song compositions, the chosen one by the company was "Hello".

Then, from June to September of 2004 Mercedes-Benz enabled an internet page of advertising and organized a myriad of events, for example in Milan at the Castello Sforzesco, and commercials for promoting the car. The campaign also included Mercedes-Benz television spots with Giorgio Armani and Boris Becker and Aguilera herself.
