Helga (often credited as Ursula) appeared in over 40 adult films between the mid-1980s and early-1990s, covering many genres; Hardcore, Lesbian, Mature and Group. She reportedly grew up in Switzerland, although this is not known for sure. Thanks to the age at which she decided to begin making films (nearly 40 years old) and her statuesque physique, Helga often played roles requiring a stern, authoritative woman, such as a business woman or madame.

She also posed in numerous magazines during her adult entertainment career; including Hustler, Exciting 66, Hefty Honeys; and special issues dedicated to her pictorials; Ursula, Helga and Ursula's Urgent Desires.
